It was a long time back, Bioware came up with a trailer on the upcoming Mass Effect 3—and now it’s back again. Gamescom has revealed an awesome trailer: “Squad leader” to fuel more speculations as we gear up for the final days of the release.

Mass Effect 3: Changes likely in characters’ appearance

 

Following the huge success of the FemShep contest, you can almost be sure to have some of the features of the blonde FemShep. Character creators will have more options with facial traits, personalities and hair styles—some of the most ‘like’d ones from the femshep will be incorporated.

A major shift from the predecessors; it will be the loyalty of the races that would be pivotal rather than loyalty of individuals in deciding course of the war. So, as the plot goes with Captain Shepherd trying to unify combatant alien races to fight the Reapers, you can expect to see less loyalty from squad members; previous loyalty and decisions could also be factor.  About the characters, apart from the Krogan princess (vital in putting up a joint army), it is highly unlikely to find a female character among the salarians and the turians.

As we are all aware, decisions would be vital in deciding whether it will be victory or perish. A wrong decision on your part, which at that moment seems right—could be fatal; could end up as harmful to another squadmate. So, while taking decisions, better be wise and judgmental about future consequences. About the squadmates, aside the availability of heavy melee class; they would be able to enjoy new powers and about six ways to customize their power to suit the need of the moment.

Mass Effect 3: Expect to see return of characters; more romance option possible

As far as we have come to know, Yahg and Legion would be back—the former with a much larger and improvised role, so will be Conrad Verner. Also, Kal Reegar and Miranda will make a comeback– to settle scores with Shepherd. On the interiors and exteriors, Starship Normandy would sport an Alliance paint along with vastly remodelled interiors. The number of squadmates onboard Normandy may vary, basically dependent on the mission on hand.

On the romantic front, it’s almost a surety that that would newer chemistry, not confined among the party only. Some sources have suggested that there may be even same sex relationships too.
