With the launch date being deferred till Q4 and Bioware indulging in making the best use of this extra time, we are receiving information about a new heavy melee class to be introduced this time.
A vastly improved Heavy Melee Captain Shepherd
While playing Mass Effect or Mass Effect 2, at least for once have thought of choosing the wrong class—or dreamt of something; a space marine combined with say a Sony Blade combined. Well, Bioware testers and developers had perhaps thought in the same line. As an insider informed us—Mass Effect 3 is to witness a new Heavy melee class. So, basically you can now customize your favorite Captain Shepherd to a never seen before level.
Though the primary weapons of Captain Shepherd would remain punches and kicks, he is set to get more agility and movements. A Heave Melee Shepherd can now go for Max Payne like dives, take cover, roll and even jump over gaps. He is about become more aggressive, using more sophisticated techniques like “SWAT turn” to counter the Cerebrus agents. Well, we are still to get details into this new move, it sounds stunning—plus when there’s BioWare and EA, be sure to have an awesome move. One thing is sure—Captain Shepherd is much more prepared this time.
Possible Locations and other issues
Till Bioware had declined to comment on the location of the missions or if there’s a space battle this time, we have got clues that the locations of Mass Effect 3 extends from London-New York in planet Earth to Salarian Homeland (the released official screenshots do suggests so, at least for now!) and may be Mars and a Quarian moon too. As the screenshots revealed the Ceberus agents engaging Captain Shepherd with all the tech-arms—ranging from combat machines, shock troops and others. But as Bioware hadn’t told us anything, we can just go on with the plot speculation and how Captain Shepherd battles against the old rivals. On the gaming experience, speculations are there that Mass Effect 3 would exhibit more dynamism—may be there’s a tool to find out enemy weak points or call shots in order to disable mechanical limbs.
Though Bioware had not shed any light into the introduction of new weapons, there are fine tuning a new planet scanning system and perhaps some new vehicle fleet too.
So, keep your fingers crossed and keep looking at this blog to find out the latest news about our favorite Mass Effect 3.
